Are you already seeing prosperity in 2023?

Are you already seeing prosperity in 2023?

Is it too early to see prosperity in 2023?

That’s the question I asked myself when I put together a simple sales budget for this year. We’re less than three percent of the way through the year, the very tip of the iceberg.

As we begin to emerge from the pandemic, I’m reminded of how quickly that ship turned course back in the early months of 2020. I know I didn’t see that coming.

That quick change showed up this past weekend while reviewing my Kindle notes. Before the pandemic closed all the public libraries around me, I relied on the physical, paper books I would get from my local library.

When that was no longer an option, I turned to digital books.

Today, I rarely read a physical book despite reading a hundred books each year since 2020.

Despite my initial reluctance, I have found there are many advantages to reading digital books. Like being able to review highlighted notes from books I returned two years ago. Plus, digital books are a whole lot easier to pack when you’re moving. Lol.

Now we return to my opening question. Is it too early to see how prosperous 2023 will be?

I don’t think so. By envisioning the year ahead before it happens, we can chart a course to follow.

I would have never read 100 books starting in 2020 if I hadn’t first set a goal to read that many books. Despite being thrown a significant wrench in the works, aka the pandemic, I was able to adjust the course and complete my goal of reading as much as I intended.

I still don’t know how I will achieve the sales goals I have for 2023. I do suspect, though, that by charting a course, and navigating around the inevitable twists and turns on the road, I’ll reach my goals more easily than without a vision to follow. Are you seeing a prosperous 2023?

Shine brightly!
